Biblical Heritage Center Bible Studies are designed to help readers more accurately understand the words of their Bible. The goal is to discover what the meanings of the words were to their ancient author and teach readers how to use BHC's Linguistic Method of Bible Study in their own studies..

Setting the Stage for the Main Event in the Garden in Eden
The first story in Genesis began with – “In the beginning
Elohim created the Skies and the Earth.” The notes below will help you see
differences between the two stories. There are others but I won’t discuss them
today. (1) In the beginning / in a day. (2) Elohim / Yahweh Elohim. (3) created
/ made. Continue reading at – https://mailchi.mp/db595a95eae4/setting-the-stage-for-the-main-event-in-the-garden-in-eden

How Important is it for Family Members to Act Together?
The Hebrew word
“ADAM” reveals there are two kinds of humans: “male and
female.” In order to have an ADAM, there must be “one
male and one female bound together by the Alliance and Covenant” in
Genesis 1-10. There is no third type of human. When the two humans act
together to fulfill Elohim’s blessing, they reveal the image of
Elohim on earth by doing the following. Continue reading at - https://mailchi.mp/8364fc46f77d/how-important-is-it-for-family-members-to-act-together

The Link Between the Declaration of Independence and Genesis
As many of
you know, I have written a lot about the link of the Jewish Jesus (Yeshua) to
Genesis 1-10. He even named his movement after it – The Kingdom of Elohim.
I have always been aware of the “words of the Creator” in the Declaration
of Independence, because George Walton (my 5th
Great Grandfather) signed it. However, for decades I have not been able to link
the Founding Father’s words to Genesis. Continue reading at - https://mailchi.mp/043a1326a28b/the-link-between-the-declaration-of-independence-and-genesis

Living in a “Natureless” Creation!
Below is one
of BHC’s most important Laws of Language: “We all think,
act, and communicate in ways that are primarily predetermined by our culture.” I often use the phrase, “seeing the
words of the Bible through their eyes.” In order to do that we must have an
understanding of the cultures of the of people in the Bibles stories. The title
of this email is -- Living in a “Natureless” Creation. What does “living
without nature” mean to you? As you read the following words change your
view to “to see the ancient world of the Bible through their eyes.”

Whose Meaning of “God” Should We Use?
Over 35
years ago, Dr. Ike Tennison, Rabbi Jeffrey Leynor and I spent a lot of time comparing
the Torah in Hebrew, with its Greek translation, the Septuagint. The
differences between Hebrew thinking Jews, Greek thinking Christians, and
American English language thinkers (Christians and Jews) became apparent very
quickly. There are major differences between them. How long did it take to find
the first problem? We found it in Genesis 1:1. Continue reading at - https://mailchi.mp/6297bcfb7fd7/whose-meaning-of-god-should-we-use

What Was the Source of the Wisdom Jesus Taught?

Jesus was Also a Sage and Wisdom Teacher
Jesus taught
an “eternal life” message, but no “Messianic Figure” was going to come with
warrior angels and destroy the Roman Empire. The people that entered Eternal
Life did acts of Tzedaqah – gave food to the hungry, gave drink
to the thirsty, gave shelter to the homeless, gave clothes to the naked,
visited the sick, and went to those in prison. Continue reading at - https://mailchi.mp/12cd9e65dfb7/jesus-was-also-a-sage-and-wisdom-teacher

The Original Meanings of Good and Evil in the Bible
The word TOV
is translated “good” and appears 7 times in Genesis (1:1-2:4a). Key words that
appear 7 times in a story are usually very important words in the Hebrew
Scriptures -- and the Hebrew teachings of Jesus. Below are the 7 times
in Genesis 1. Continue reading at - https://mailchi.mp/00e09871a296/the-original-meanings-of-good-and-evil-in-the-bible

Why Does the Creator Require Hungry People to be Fed?
Have you
ever thought about that question before? I believe there is a very short and simple
biblical answer. Genesis 1:28 says: And the Creator blessed the man and
woman, and said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth
and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of
the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”

Jesus, List Thinking, and the Light of Life!
Instead of using
lexicons, dictionaries or concordances to provide meanings of words, which are
usually expressed in one word, we create a “bundle of associations” from the
underlined factors above. “List thinking” requires tracking ideas
through multiple sections of the Hebrew Scriptures. This is what the Real Jewish Jesus taught! Have you ever heard of it before? Continue

A “List Thinking” Lesson from Jesus!
The language
of Jesus was the Hebrew language in the scroll Ezra carried to Jerusalem in 458
BCE. The scribal schools at the Temple in Jerusalem were around until 70 CE
when the Romans destroyed the Temple. And soon after that this form of Hebrew
was lost to the followers of Jesus. Continue reading at - https://mailchi.mp/2b2d20b82f2b/a-list-thinking-lesson-from-jesus

Why is the Creator in the Declaration of Independence?
Why is the “Creator”
in the Declaration of Independence? We can’t pretend to understand, “We
hold these truths to be self-evident . . .,” until we answer the first question.
In the very first sentence of the Declaration, the colonists describe
themselves as founding a country that would take its “separate and equal”
place on the world’s stage. Continue reading at: https://mailchi.mp/6b9fa539509f/why-is-the-creator-in-the-declaration-of-independence
