This
parable is about “a certain man.” He was walking “down the road from Jerusalem
to Jericho.” The man could have
been anyone – good or evil, rich or poor, Jew or foreigner, etc. The man
is stripped, beaten, and left laying naked on the side of the road. Jesus made sure the audience clearly
understood that the man was alive – he was only half-dead! What do you
think he was thinking? What would you have been thinking? The usual answer is –

The
disciples of Jesus that heard the lawyer’s answers knew that he had just repeated
what Jesus taught them every day! The lawyer sounded like he was a member of the
Jesus Movement! He must have realized it, too. Forget eternal life! Now the
lawyer is interested in protecting his reputation and ego! He is doing it in a
way that reminds me of something else in the Garden with Eve, the serpent.

“And
behold, a certain lawyer stood up; testing Jesus.” The words “testing
Jesus” reveal the kind of person this lawyer is. He clearly is not asking
the question to gain knowledge. He had an answer in mind before he asked the
question. From the context of the story, it is likely that there are Pharisees,
Sadducees, Essenes, and probably others in the crowd that would also like for Jesus

In
today’s world of global social media networks, the time span for repeating the rise
of another Hitler could be reduced from years to months. Hitler’s ideas could and
still are be delivered directly and immediately into the eyes and ears of
anyone that happens to click on links or apps on smartphones and computers. Once
evil words enter human brains, a biological process at the subconscious level
takes over. The only firewalls in the brain are the standards internalized in belief

Germany
was a nation with a 94% Christian population. Germany murdered 20% of Poland’s
total population, six million Polish citizens – three million Polish Jews and
three million Polish Christians. This is a very good reason for Jews to not
trust Christians and to have a difficult time considering that Jesus was a Jew.
This makes the book, The Holocaust, The Church, and the Law of Unintended
Consequences, by Judge Anthony J. Sciolino, a very important for both Jews

In
August 1939 Witold Pilecki lived in Poland’s eastern borderlands, his family owned
an orchard and 550 acres of wheat fields. By the end of September, Poland had
been annexed by the Nazis and over five million Catholic Poles and Jews were
being expelled to make room for German settlers. Killing squads rounded up and shot
some 20,000 members of the Polish educated and professional classes. One year
later he volunteered to intentionally get captured and sent to a new Nazi camp.
Germany and Poland were nations with populations that were over 90% Christians.

Membership
requirements in the Yeshua Movement, the original Jesus Movement, can be summed
up by many quotes attributed to him in the Synoptic Gospels. I will provide a
few of his most well-known quotes. This message was lost soon after the Second
Temple in Jerusalem was destroyed by the Romans in 70 CE. The membership message
