In one of his bestsellers, The Da Vinci Code, author Dan Brown wrote: “History is always written by the winners. When two cultures clash, the
loser is obliterated, and the winner writes the history books - books which
glorify their own cause and disparage the conquered foe.”
Early Christianity is the period from the
beginning of the second century CE until 325. As Christianity
spread throughout other nations and Gentiles became Christians, five centers of
Christianity emerged -- Jerusalem,
Antioch, Rome, Alexandria and Byzantium (renamed
Constantinople in 330
