(3) Protestantism (16th century CE)
(4) Biblical Heritage Center (analysis completed in 2014 CE)

The Tenth Commandment

Rabbinic Judaism

Catholicism

You shall not desire your neighbor's house, his field, or his manservant, or his maidservant, or his ox, or his ass, or anything that is your neighbor's.

Protestantism

You shall not covet anything that belongs to your neighbor.

Biblical Heritage Center

You shall not covet your neighbor's wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor anything that is your neighbor's.

Don’t keep this information to yourself – share it with others. The next time someone says something about the Ten Commandments, be sure to ask which version.
